The Altar Care Attention all Sacred Heart Parishioners, our Church is in need of YOUR help in the important Ministry of- Service of the Altar & Church for cleaning & maintenance. Our wonderful maintenance man, George, has his hands full keeping up with all the buildings and grounds on our campus. We need your help in OUR Church.
Currently there are very few dedicated people who come every Thursday afternoon and evening to tidy up our church and improve its cleanliness. A recent wonderful gift from a parishioner made it possible to clean/wax our floors and walls before Lent. We now need to keep it up. Also, one particular gentleman has donated his time every week to maintaining our restrooms in the church as a service to our parish.
With enough people volunteering we can look at only one or two times a month to have volunteers come in and assist. The loving work can be spread out amongst us. Please pray and discern to see if you can help. Again, the commitment is only once or maybe twice a month depending upon the number of volunteers we can get. Ms. Maria Puga heads the efforts and will help guide people as to what is needed. We can set up different days and times as needed for your schedule.
