ASH WEDNESDAY Mass Schedule

6:30am Mass in church, English*
8:15am Mass in church, English* -- streamed for Sick and Homebound (available all day)

5:30pm NO EVENING MASS on March 2nd – Ash Wednesday*Ashes will NOT be administered individually to people – after Mass, as they leave Mass
each family will be offered a FAMILY PRAYER PACKET.PARISH SCHOOL:
For health reasons our school will have a prayer service on Ash Wednesday in the school quad; without ashes. We invite our school families after school to join the drive through lines to be blest as a family and to then receive ashes for your home celebration.
Masses will be available all day, on line for your family prayer at home

FAMILY PRAYER PACKET:For the health and safety of our families, in this year of pandemic, we will offer each family after each of our Masses……a FAMILY PRAYER PACKET. This beautiful prayer packer for home use will also be available to everyone that afternoon, in car lines (see schedule below). This special packet will contain a family home prayer service and enough ashes for a family of 8+ to bless each other. You can have your family celebration anytime on Wednesday, March 2nd.
BLESS YOUR FAMILY DURING MASS:You may also join us for one of our Live Stream Masses and at the traditional moment within the liturgy, bless each other with ashes in the Family Prayer Packet. OR you may view any Mass any time after it airs Live Stream on our website and on our You Tube channel.
CAR LANE DISTRIBUTION:On Wed., March 2nd (Ash Wednesday) we will open car lanes in front of the Sacred Heart statue, between the church and the hall. Priests and deacons present will offer a prayer for your family. Volunteers will give each car one Family Prayer Packet.
CAR LANE HOURS:We will be open from 3:30pm to 8:30pm on Wed., March 2nd.
EARLY DISTRIBUTION:For your family convenience, to get a good start of the day for Ash Wednesday --- blest ashes will be passed out early on Tuesday, March 1st --- in car lanes in front of the Sacred Heart statue, between the church and the hall. On Tuesday blest ashes (saved from last year & blest again on Tuesday) will be available from: 7:00pm to 9:00pm. We kindly ask you to use them with your family on Ash Wednesday.
FOR ASHES:Please stay in your car, wear a mask in your car, open windows as our priests and deacons present will give you and your family a blessing praying for your health. A volunteer (wearing gloves) will hand the driver one Family Prayer Packet for your use at home. There will be no touching of persons for health safety reasons.
PLEASE EXIT along the back of the school field to the other side of the school (one way – exit only).
PLEASE ENTER through the drive way along the Rectory (one way – entrance only).
When you have completed your home ceremony, you should:- Burry the family packet in your yard
- Burn the family packet envelopes with remaining ashes (and scatter remains in your yard)
- Return the family packet envelopes and ashes to church on or before Sunday, March 6.
