Our Baptism Classes, called Baptism Renewal Night, are held every first Thursday of the month in Cavanagh Hall at 7pm. 

• Each parent and godparent must attend a baptism preparation class at least one month prior to the scheduled baptism date. If they choose to attend the class at another church, they must provide a certificate of completion to the Parish Center by one month prior to the baptism date. Baptism name and date must be printed clearly on the certificate. Certificates can be brought to the Parish Center during office hours, mailed (344. W. Workman St., Covina, CA 91723), or scanned and emailed (info@sacredheart.cc), or turned in before any Baptism Info Night.
• The Baptism Renewal Night class covers the ritual and spirituality of baptism, as well as practical questions concerning how to prepare for the baptism.
• We encourage you to take the class at Sacred Heart. You may also take the class at another parish, or online via the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (lacatholics.org/baptism).
• If you plan to attend the class at Sacred Heart, please plan ahead so that you attend the class the month prior to the month of baptism. For instance, if your baptism date is September 25, please be sure to attend the class the first week of August.
• Baptism preparation classes are valid for one year. If you attended a class more than a year ago we ask you kindly to attend again as a refresher.
