Faith Formation Mission

Our mission of the Religious Education Program here at Sacred Heart is to assist parents in the religious, moral, and spiritual formation of their children. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children, teaching by word and example. Our parish catechists support the parents and students by providing quality religious education in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. By working together our children will grow in their love for God and knowledge of their Catholic faith while developing their God-given gifts.

We believe that our children must receive regular instruction and participate weekly at Mass for their faith to grow. It is through growth in faith that the Church Community will remain significant in their growing years. As a parish family, we may enlighten the hearts of our children in the ways of our Catholic traditions.
