There are several types of services available to you, depending on your needs. Here is a quick explanation of each. For fee information, please

Funeral Mass: - Held at either Sacred Heart parish or a Catholic Cemetery
- Cannot be held at any other location
- Remains of deceased are present (either in a casket or if cremated in an urn)
- Full celebration of the Mass with priest, readings, homily, eulogy
- Approx. 1 hour long
- Normally held Monday-Friday at 10am
Rite of Commital/Graveside Service: - Can take place at any cemetery at the graveside or mausoleum
- Interment service at which the body is finally buried or interred
- Takes place either after Funeral Mass or Chapel Service OR on its own
- Prayers for the deceased and blessing of the ground (or burial place) by priest or deacon
- Approx. 15 minute duration (for prayer service)
Rosary/Vigil Prayer Service - Takes place at Sacred Heart or another location (mortuary or funeral home)
- The evening prior to the Funeral/Chapel Service/Graveside
- Includes a rosary and a time for family members and friends to share blessed memories.
- Lead by Bereavement Minister
- Approx. 45 min - 1 hour long
Viewing - Takes place at Sacred Heart or mortuary/cemetery chapel
- A time to view the body of your cherished loved one prior to the Funeral or Chapel Service.
- May be held one hour before the service OR after the Vigil/Rosary (if at Sacred Heart, must conclude by 8:45 pm).
- Normally around 45 min. Can be scheduled longer for extra fee.
Memorial Mass: - Takes place at Sacred Heart
- When no remains are present
- Full celebration of Mass with priest -- readings, homily, eulogy (if desired)
- Approx. 1 hour long
Chapel Service: - Can take place at any cemetery or mortuary chapel
- Remains are present (casket or urn)
- Prayer Service (Celebration of the Word) by a priest or deacon without Mass -- readings, homily, eulogy
- Approx 45 min. in duration
