We are very happy to welcome photographers to make a beautiful record of your special ceremony. To respect this sacred space and to keep the focus first on God and then on you, we ask that photographers and videographers please honor the following:
We do not allow posed pictures in church either before or after the wedding ceremony. This helps preserve the dignity of the church as a sacred place and also avoids conflict with other weddings and the afternoon schedule of confessions and evening Mass. There are many beautiful spots on the church grounds that are ideal for outdoor photography. For any exceptions to this regulation due to inclement weather please check with the wedding coordinator.
No artificial lighting for photography or video may be used. Flash for cameras is allowed, but please, no lights on the video cameras.
Please never enter the red area shown on the map below. The photographer shooting from the main floor, we call station #2 - is free to move around; please remember to stay out of the red areas, however. And please remember to move in a respectful manner not calling attention to yourself and distracting from our ceremony.
We welcome a videographer and/or still camera in the sanctuary at location #1 in green and ask that you remain stationary at all times.
We welcome a videographer and/or still camera in the choir loft, location #3 on the map; this is in addition to or instead of those at station #1.
Please arrive early to meet with our parish Wedding Coordinator. Pleae dress accordingly. Please do not use flash except during the entrance and exit processions and never stop the processions.
Thank you very much for cooperating and understanding! We want to make this a joyful prayer to God and a very holy blessing for the couple or individual and their family and friends.
