In baptism, God adopts us as His sons and daughters and gives us the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts, uniting us with Jesus and our brothers and sisters in Him, the Church.
Baptisms take place inside the church every Sunday at 2:00 pm. Bilingual baptisms are held on the first Sunday of the month. We look forward to sharing this blessing with you and your child! The following is information for baptizing children up to six years of age.
The first step to have your child baptized is to attend a Baptism Info Night, held every first Thursday of the month in Cavanagh Hall from 7:00-8:00 pm.
Please note: If the Thursday falls on a holiday or Holy Day of Obligation, the Information Night or Baptism Preparation Class will be canceled. Please check with the parish office.
At the Baptism Info Night, we will walk you through everything you need to know to register your child for baptism and answer any questions. A parent or someone representing the parent is welcome to attend the Baptism Info Night. Children are welcome.
Please note that the Baptism Information Night is different from the Baptism Preparation Class, which is required of all parents and godparents, and takes place every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.
If you are a Godparent, please visit our Godparents page here. If you seek to attend a Baptism Class, please visit our Baptism Renewal Night page.
Children over 7 years of age will need to attend a Faith Formation program (such as First Communion or Confirmation) prior to receiving baptism.
